The next scheduled dates for the bolt-on course (minimum 2 people per course):
20th February 2025 – £375/pp (£780 a bespoke course (1 person))
15th May 2025 – £390/pp (£780 for a bespoke course (1 person))
25th September 2025 – £390/pp (£780 for a bespoke course (1 person))
20th November 2025 – £390/pp (£780 for a bespoke course (1 person))
A minimum of two attendees is required. If we don’t meet this requirement, you can either join the next session or attend on the scheduled date at a higher rate if you prefer.

This course is delivered by The European Xenopus Resource Centre on behalf of Red Kite Veterinary Consultants Ltd, and fulfils the requirements for Home Office modules PILA and B (formerly modules 2 and 3).
The course is accredited by the Scottish Accreditation Board (SAB), who will issue certificates to the successful candidates.
The end of course examination is set and marked by Red Kite for the SAB. This is a mixture of multiple choice and short answer questions. You will have 15 minutes to complete the exam.
Open book assessment is accepted by the SAB so you may refer to your course materials during the exam.
Since the volume of Xenopus work at the EXRC is so high it is normally possible for students to have demonstrations of a wide range of procedures on the day that they come and do the course. Courses are normally run by request so contact us if you have students or staff requiring this training.
